![]() If you pay more than $27 per person (without the VIP) then you obviously haven't looked on the internet for these discount options. I agree with what others said about the event being expensive, but there are MANY ways to get discounted tickets. So I put aside the cheesy storyline and enjoyed the horse riding. But all I wanted was to see horses and tricks, etc. And yes, the story was a little cheesy and disjointed. I didn't expect prime steaks, and what I did get was par for the venue. The food at Arabian Nights is pretty good. I hoped for decent food and exciting horse riding. So you have to have realistic expectations. Luckily some of my co-workers gave me their first-hand opinions and convinced me to try it out - and I am glad I listened to them. After reading the reviews on tripadvisor, I quickly changed my mind. My wife really likes horses, and so I thought this would be a nice attraction for her on her birthday. (To be fair, the other waiters appeared to be much nicer and accommodating than ours.) Also, since this was our first time at the show we were confused about things-we didn't even know that they were serving crudites in the lobby until after we had sat down at our seats. Really, what would it have cost him to just say, "of course sir" along with a smile? But the worst thing of all was how he had his hand out at the end waiting for his expected and apparently obligatory tip. More eye-rolling, along with an irritated sigh and a distinct smirk. ![]() Then when I was kept waiting for my dinner while everyone else was eating, I asked if I could have my one regulation roll up front rather than with my dinner because I was starving. I had asked for a different salad dressing than the default one at our places, and then for a vegan entree (as the menu stated was available.) Eye-rolling each and every time. He distinctly rolled his eyes every single time I made a special request that didn't fit the assembly-line serving was plain that he just wanted to dole out the food and get out of there as fast as possible. "Vassil" was our waiter, and unfortunately he had a rather bad attitude.maybe he was just having a bad night. And I really appreciated that they were able to accommodate me with a vegan entree (even if it was rather boring uldn't they have at least given me the same veggies on the side that the meat-eaters got?) But the service was bad. The food was meh, but frankly I wasn't expecting it to be that good anyway. The show itself was great-much better than I expected it to be.
